History
Our Church evolved from a locally organized prayer meeting and bible study called the Bible Light Union, which met each Wednesday night, by rotation, at one of the affiliated churches. Deacon Eddie J. Squirewell and Deacon Marion W. Martin Sr., served as President and Secretary of the Union. It was during this time that Evangelist Jordan Thomas came to this area to proclaim God's Plan of Salvation. He taught that deeply held convictions and church membership was not enough, but that the New Birth, consisting of repentance, water baptism in the name of Jesus Christ, and the receiving o the Holy Ghost, is essential to salvation. Deacon Squirewell and others were filled with the Holy Ghost in one of Evangelist Thomas' tent revival services.
The first official meeting place of the church was in a small, rented building along Highway 21, south of Ridgeway, S.C. After several years, it was decided that a permanent place of worship should be built. Land was purchased and the work began, culminating in the dedication of a house of worship on December 07, 1969. After many additions to accommodate a growing congregation, the current Sanctuary was built and dedicated in December 1983. The Church was incorporated in 1969 and recognized by the Internal Revenue Service as a 501(c) (3) entity. Deacon Squirewell ordained a Bishop by Bishop Nathan Adger of Newark, New Jersey, served as Overseer and Pastor of the Church for 25 years. Elder Curtis Squirewell, a son of the former Pastor, has served as Pastor for over 30 years. The current Ministerial Staff, along with the Pastor, consist of Elder Bennie Mozie and Minister Neco Green.

We are dedicated to and guided by the Apostolic Doctrine, the things that began to be spoken of by the Lord Jesus Christ and was confirmed unto us by them that heard him, the Holy Apostles.
Beliefs
There is only one God. He is the all-powerful, all-knowing, ever present, eternal God of goodness and of love. He is the father in creation, the Son in redemption, and the Holy Spirit working in the lives of every believer.

Jesus Christ was God manifested in the flesh. He was the Son in redemption. Being both God and man, he was the image of the invisible God. He was born of a virgin named Mary and lived a sinless life. He gave his life as the perfect sacrifice for the sins of all mankind by dying on the cross. He arose on the third day, showed himself openly to his disciples and ascended to heaven.

The Holy Scriptures, both Old and the New Testaments, are the inspired word of God. The spirit of God moved upon chosen men to write the scriptures. It is the final authority concerning salvation, truth, right and wrong, and the living of a life that is pleasing to the Lord.

(ref: 2 Timothy 3:15-17; 2 Peter 1:20-21)
Salvation is the gift of God, given to mankind by grace and received by faith in the redemptive work of the Lord Jesus Christ. All mankind are sinners by nature and are reconciled to God by faith and Christ's death on the cross. This saving faith demonstrated as a person identifies with Christ's death through repentance of sin, burial through water baptism in the name of Jesus Christ, and resurrection by the infilling of the Holy Spirit with the initial evidence of speaking in other tongues.
(ref: Acts 2:4, 38-40; Romans 3:23, 5-10, 6:2-4, 8:2, 11;
1 Corinthians 15:1-3; Ephesians 2:8)
God is holy, the angels are holy, and God requires holiness and sanctification of his people. True holiness is attained through complete obedience to the Holy Spirit as it dwells in God's people. Holiness is a characteristic of God. It is the standard that God requires of all believers.

(ref: Deuteronomy 26:15; Isaiah 35:8, St. Matthew 25:31; 1 Corinthians 6:19-20; 2 Corinthians 6:16; Ephesians 4:22-24; 1 Peter 1:15-16)
The physical suffering of the Lord Jesus Christ made healing available, regardless of circumstance, to all those who can believe by faith. It is also a gift of faith given by the Holy Ghost to some believers.

(ref: Isaiah 53:5; St. Mark 16:15-18; I Corinthians 12:9, 28-30; Hebrews 11:16; I Peter 2:24)
Jesus Christ is coming again. His return has been declared by the Apostles, the angels, and by Jesus Christ himself. The return of the Lord Jesus Christ will be sudden, without further warning, and it is the expectation and the hope of every believer. The second coming of the Lord Jesus Christ is the event we all should be preparing for.
